Well, they are just clearly overweight. That is just poor dedication. You can expect to look awful if you can't even train correctly. I'm talking more about if a guy steps up a few lbs from his natural weight class its a huge issue and a ready made excuse. Hatton is the prime example.
Because its true. Haye admitted it himself. He used to post on here some years back on the Brit forum.
Haye can make 200lbs. He just doesn't want to. He made 197 for the Enzo fight. You don't come in 3lbs inside and drinking at the weigh in if your struggling to make weight. But then again Haye may perform better close to his walking around weight.
Fast twitch alright. You can see if from his build. Fast twitch guys normally always have muscular but slim builds. He`s certainly got way more fast twitch fibres than a meat sack like me.
Not everyone enjoys roadwork - I hate it. Two half marathons in a lifetime is enough for me. Stick me on the track, or on a treadmill and I am a totally different animal.
I'm sure he doesn't like doing it. Do you know anyone who does?! I was just asking because I saw some footage of him training with Dwayne Ladejo.
Instead of roadwork i think he performs so many 100m sprints in a session. I think thats why Ladejo works with him.
Totally the wrong thing to do against Margarito! I much prefer running 100's and 200's to multi k's, so boring.
I think the main thing is getting a balance between the roadwork and the sprints. You need the gas that roadwork provides but also the speed and recovery that sprints provide. I suppose everyones different though.
