Did people really believe he would retire on that date he set? Nothing more then a ploy.

To be fair ive only just got my head around this fight with Wlad (even then its not 100% confirmed until the first bell rings)

Im not accepting this untill i see it happen. and the first bell goes. i think he will happily go ahead with this fight but then will fight someone else.

I truly think that if he some how manages to beat both Klits he will retire.
He seems interstred in other things outside the ring.

Will Vitali beat Adamek ? I'm sure Solis would have beat him had his knee packed in. Think old father time might be catching up with him

Thats a very cheap thing to say.

Solis had a good start - and was landing on Vitalis chin - but he crumbled pretty easily - lets not forget it was the punch that put him down to twist his knee.

As long as there is big paydays - Haye will push retirement back another fight.

however - it all hinges on what happens in his fight with Wlad.

Cos if Wlad - dismantles him - and takes his titles in one sided fashion - that may be it for Haye already.

yeah, if he gets flattened he'll retire. If not he'll carry on and at least fight Vitali.

The ideal secnario would be if Haye were to spark Wlad out flat.

And then the natural thing to happen - would be for big brother Vitali - once he has attended to his stricken brother - walk over to Haye and punch him in the arm aggressively and demand he fight him next - to avenge his brothers dishonour.

Then a big grudge match would be built up between Haye and Vitali.

From boxing fans - this would be the most fun thing to happen.

If Haye does manage to spark Wlad - (and he does have a chance - ) I can see Vitali taking it very badly - and actually become aggressive and physical with Haye in the ring after the fight.

Haye V Klitschkos is bad blood already - its only going to worsen if Haye sparks Wlad.

On the other hand - if Haye gets hammered by Wlad - and give a brutal lesson - that will be entertaining to.

So from my perspective - I dont mind if Haye wins or loses this one.

But it would give another chapter to the story if Haye sparks Wlad.

I don't know, Gaz. I think if he got 'flattened' there's probabily more chance of him carrying on and trying to 'redeem' himself.

Sorry but I genuinely think Haye would be the type to dissapear if he got flattened. If it was a great back and forth fight and he got caught in the later round or lost a desicion then yeah I could see him carrying on.

I don't think he'd have the appetite for the road back TBH.
