I've got another get nugget of information for you. A year before the fight with Haye, Monte Barrett got destroyed by Cliff Couser in two rounds. Since that time, Couser has lost 9 fights in a row, 7 of them by knockout. That's right. His last win in ten fights was against Barrett. Now, Haye claimed that he would fight a top ten opponent. Barrett didn't even belong in the top 50 at the time, he wast shot. Ruiz was also shot. Everyone knows Valuev was shot. I'm not stating the facts to disparage Haye, I'm stating the because they are facts. Haye's campaign at heavweight is nothing but smoke and mirrors...a series of carefully chosen fights against shot fighters who still had respectable reputations. It was a brilliant strategy. He and his manager have done a masterful job making obscene amounts of money fighting shot fighters. I don't blame him. My only question is how he has managed to fool so many fans? This doesn't mean the Klits are perfect. Far, far from it. In fact, I was hoping that Haye would give them a run for their money. But anyone who says tha hey are satisfied with what Haye's career at heavyweight is either a delluded or a bald-faced liar. He has taken the path of least resistance at every turn.
Valuev and Chambers are about the same imo, Valuev actually won a belt. In any event, Valuev and Ruiz are much more capable punchers than Bryd and Chambers. Who many consider feather fisted. You must also realize Bryd was shot to **** by the time Povetkin got ahold of him, which would be comparable to Ruiz I suppose. Of course Chambers is better than anyone Audley has ever faced, let alone beat. I'm just saying Povetkin has accomplished very little so far, other than beating a handful of name feather fisted fighters and backed out of his fight with Wlad a couple times. Oh yeah, he was a gold medalist, just like Audley.
What do you base your assessment of Haye on, how do you arrive at the conclusion he's the most gifted fighter etc when he has proven nothing in this division?
Again, im not placing blame on Wlad for not taking the fight. All im saying is, if Wlad really wants to expose him. He has to decide wether he wants to swallow his pride and take the fight, or go another direction and pass up the chance to beat a really good fighter.
Who was a more gifted fighter that Wlad has faced so far? I myself can clearly see how gifted Haye is just by watching him fight. His speed, power, and his reflexes are quite impressive. He has alot to work with, he just needs to improve his footwork a bit and at times he stands straight up in the air. A Klitschko right hand would spell doom for him. Other than that, he has what it takes to sit atop the heavyweight division.

But it doesnt' matter, if Wlad really wanted to fight Haye he would do it for free. David Haye is so black, so British, so athletic, such a great dancer and soul singer...Wlad will never find an opponent that even approaches his worth. if i were wlad, i would give him the uk money, but stipulate no more bull**** after that, no more demands, no more requests ...next will be hayes gloves, hayes ring size, hayes coming in the ring last ect ect, when will it stop.....he wants everything because he knows he gonna get knocked out....
And do you remember who Valuev beat to get the title and how he won it? Do you also remember that Valuev lost the title to Ruslan and only got it back when went to court. Also, Chambers fought the best heavy in the world for the title, Valuev didn't. A belt only means as much as who you beat to get it.
Wlad is the only fighter in boxing who gets criticized for properly working behind his jab. That is what sets up the right hand. I think there is a 90% chance MINIMUM that Haye takes a nap if they meet. The only way to avoid it is to run.
He'll never be the top guy. Number one, he doesn't fight enough. Number two, he's not really interested in boxing. Money is key with him and he's already raking in a ton of it from his production company. Fighters have to have the drive to succeed. The Klitschkos kind of have it, but not enough to be all time greats. Haye doesn't have even a vestige of it.
I agree with what your saying, and Haye does really seem to be holding things up with his demands. What ever the reason, Haye is making Wlad work for the fight. I hope Wlad eventually takes it, but if he doesn't I really dont blame him. I just wish he would take the fight for the fight fans that have watched countless boring matches of his. Just hopping for a fight that will define him as a great champ. Thats just one mans take on things.
I agree that Haye was once a very gifted fighter. But now he's much more interested in being an important media figure in the UK and making money with his production company than he is with fighting. Evidence? How about 3 fights in 2 years? How about the fact that it has been three months and there hasn't been a word about his next fight. The most likely scenario is that he waits for his next mandatory, Chagaev...That means he'll probably only have one fight this year. How can Haye fans not see this???
He's the best at it. I even went on record as to say Wlad's jab's better than lennox's. He just don't have the killer instinct or arsenal Lennox had (Uppercut). Haye got about a 30% chance of winning imo, Wlad has had trouble with fast handed power punchers in the past. History may repeat itself.

Haye does need to fight more, hopefully the Klitschko's. I don't know Haye's agenda, it seems to change week to week. As far as his skill set, it's one of the best in the division. Thats why I want to see Haye/Wlad more than any other fight that could be made in the terrible division.
