Both brothers KO him, they are much sharper and have more dimensions than Valuev. Haye can't fight on the inside too and when Wlad spoils him there the advantage will be Wlad's.
What's important is that Haye is their first real challenge. Solis is the other. Believe that they would beat these two if you must, but I suspect even the brothers know how important these guys are to their historical standing in the division.
I'm not sure Haye would be able to be so disciplined in a fight with Wlad or Vitali. Will he be able to keep his cool if he gets hit with a monsterous jab? I don't think so. The Klitschkos are also much quicker than Valuev. Remember Ibragimov or Chagaev not being able to get inside against Wlad? And cthey were pretty quick. Oddly enough, I think due to his speed Haye would fare better against the older Vitali than the quicker and technically-sounder Wlad.
If I remember rightly, Holyfield lost to Valuev and Haye won both using the same technique. Also, didn't I just watch Haye doing exactly that for the full 12 rounds and win a decision? Personally I think Haye could end up fighting a Vitali who has aged and slowed down a lot, catching him just at the right time to get a good win. As for Wlad, he's been beaten by men who aren't as good as Haye.
yeah the difference being, one guy is almost 50 and looked like ****...hes supposed to...the other guy is 28 and looked like ****.... these fights with the klits have to happen soon, but i dont see it happening for another 12-18 months
Haye beats Vitali? Only thing that Valuev and Vitali have in common is their age. Vitali is still very fast and accurate. Haye hasn't a snowball's chance in hell against him. Against Wlad he has a small puncher's chance.
based of what? beating Barrett:huh This performance against Valuev:huh I havent seen anything in Hayes 2 HW fights that would make me change my opinion that he could not beat either klitschko
I wanna see Haye throw more punches. He was supposed to be this exciting new heavyweight right? I'm tired of these ****ing fighters that throw 5 punches a round.
Come on Chef he did what you said he wouldnt do and thats beat Valuev, all be it with one broken hand. Give the man his props
You are not sure if he broke his hand or it is just an excuse.. much like his back.. Haye won but a heavyweight savior my ass after all that talk about excitement he goes out and lays a turd.. and ran more then dirrel.. which supposedly the brits think you should lose if you fight like... but hey rooting for the homer is more important then consistency.
Watch 21 of Haye's other fights (bar Abdoul, which he used simply to go the distance) and you'll see that fighter. He executed an intelligent gameplan solely for Valuev.
This is true but 1)holyfield deserved to win that fight against valuev 2)i was referring to a prime holyfield (who would likely stand a damn good chance against vitali) not the 212 year old version around now I would HOPE that haye could match the physical performance of a dinousaur. I think he has a chance against vitali but i still doubt he'll get past the new wlad's jab
You obviously don't understand the definiton of the term "panic attack". Wlad got up from knockdowns against Peter and got back to beating him, that is hardly a panic attack. He got overly excited against Sanders when he was knocked down, at a stage of his career when he lacked some of the skills Manny has taught him by now. Peter also had an amazing chin for straight punches, while Haye was timid against the light - hitting Valuev.
I think he could take rounds off Vitali due to his speed before he gets stopped. I think also that he could KO Wlad, but 9 times out of 10 he doesn't and gets jabbed to death.
