It is physically impossible for a partisan person to be rational on topics about which they are partisan. I am happy to give you a link to some studies where MRIs have been done on people that prove this. The studies proved, plainly visually, that the areas of the brain used for analytical reasoning are not involved at all. The parts of the brain used by partisans when trying to be analytical about those topics are about as good at analytical reasoning as their spleens are. This forum is full of people who are full of **** - and who are incapable of seeing that they are full of ****. It's proven, it's understood by science. But it doesn't stop it from sucking.
