How much in total did he get after his fight with Wlad after tax?

Will the Klitschko's even want Haye without Sky pay per view? He brings nothing to a fight with either brother, he has the same leverage now as someone like Ustinov. The Klitschko's hold all the cards here, I think Haye might have to work his way into a mandatory shot now, that's if he even wants it. With his megalomanic attitude I just don't see that, I just don't think Haye has it in him to fight anybody for less than a million quid after tax.

He owes the fans big time and should have another run at it. I doubt he actually cares about the fans imo and will be happy to retire with his bank full.

This is why I take the opinions from the ESB with a pinch of salt, to say Haye is a joke to British boxing and say he won't be missed is completely lunacy.

people want boxing to be a mainstream sport, well Haye did bring it to the main stream and now you hate him, it's like you can't win.

Would have loved to see him give Vitali a go, it would have been a far less cagey fight than against Wlad, whether Haye chose it to be or not.

Personally I'd like to see Haye back in the ring, there have been many, many worse fights as a spectacle than the one he fought against Wlad.

Adamek vs Haye at CW would have been class, neither are even half the fighters at HW that they were at CW.

What people? I don't want boxing to be mainstream, It'll just get turned into even more of a circus than it is now.

He's a Cruiser who lost on a points decision to Wladimir Klitschko, who's at very least an All Time Great top 20 Heavy Weight.

The way folk go on anyone would think Haye got knocked out in the first round against a retired domestic level fighter.

It used to be mainstream in the bad old days when the likes of Ali, Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Tyson even, were kicking around... ; )

I support boxing, but I don't want it to go mainstream as such. I worry that if the sport starts catering to the casual fans too much there's the danger it becomes overpriced, and devalued to a certain degree. We'll end up with any half decent domestic bill being labelled a "World Title", and shown on PPV, (like Cleverly and the WBO title).

I'm quite happy for boxing to stay out of the mainstream arena, if I want to see more fights I'll simply buy a ticket and go see them for real.

Yeah, and if we had fighters like that today then boxing probably would be more mainstream, but we wouldn't need to make it happen, it would occur naturally.
