The Chagaev - Haye fight will goto a purse bid. Universum is basically broke and won't be able to bid much. Haye and Booth will easily secure the purse bid then notify the WBA that they wish to stage the fight in the UK.

Then Haye will send a letter to the British Boxing Board of Control asking if they would extend a license to Chagaev. The BBoC will kindly reply they can't allow Chagaev.

Then Haye will crawl back to the WBA asking them to provide them with an alternative mandatory challenger.

Going down the WBA list we find Valuev on #2. Don King and his buddies at the WBA will have no problems sending in Valuev as a mandatory challenger.

i dont give a toss how long wlads been a champion, how can anyone think this demand is reasonable, fight me, fight my brother, then fight me or my brother again. what is this? no wonder the klitschko's tell opponents to keep queit about this. its just wrong, and they know it.

I feel that Mormeck. He looked good against Ibragimov, faded a little late though. I doubt that Haye chooses anyone better.

Contract with rematch options was long long ago, recent 50/50 offered contracts with brothers had no rematch clauses.

Of course it matters. If it's a real opponent and Haye loses we could see a unification fight in the near future. (Rematch clauses are not allowed in mandatory title defenses.)

Itll be Chagaev or someone of that ilk. There will be a Klit fight in 2011 though. Its the only fight worthwhile at heavyweight and all 3 of them know it.

He will probably rematch Ruiz. Haye is a disgrace to the Heavyweight championship.

Was Ruiz the mandatory? I couldn't care less about anyone else, and how long they avoided their mandatory...but again, was Ruiz the mandatory?

The Klitschko's are praised for taking their mandatories, no matter what their age, or who they have fought...why is it not the same for Haye.

I can't really, and don't want to defend Hayes other options he has taken after that...but Ruiz was the mandatory.

(Also, it wasn't long ago that Wlad had Mormeck on the shortlist before he chose Chisora...people easily forget that. Not trying to say anything negative about either Klitschko, but why do people accept Wlad keeping his options open and not Haye?)...this is speculation of Hayes next opponent. For all we know, they're trying to work out a deal with Vitali now...
