Stop putting these non PPV fights on PPV ... you have these guys who aren't worthy of being put on PPV ... haven't paid their dues to the public and after 2-3 fights they're PPV status.

I don't agree with that ... I think that fighters should be put on a showcase for a couple of years and have their marketability built up to PPV status.

I don't wanna see guys (who are good fighters, but haven't did any in the sport) like Margarito, Kelly Pavlik, Joel Casamayor, and Joe Calzaghe headlining PPV events.

They haven't done anything to prove themselves to the American public and haven't been doing anything of recent note to gain attention from us.

I think that 90% of those fights on PPV shouldn't have been on PPV ... and the fans have been robbed in this current economic reccession.

I hope that 2009 is much better, more free fights and less PPV ...

That was supposed to be the promise of this year but it didn't turn out that way.

Promoters need to stop being greedy and start thinking about the long run.

Whats next ... Vernon Forrest v Kelly Pavlik on PPV ... or Bernard Hopkins v Chad Dawson on PPV.

    What do you guys think?

Add to that ... beef of those damn undercards ... those undercards should consist of fighters who would normally be fighting on WCB or BAD ... not up and comers ... or guys who are making their 10 pro fight.

Thats not the true meaning of exposure --

Thats not enough bro ... I think the whole year should be free ... the more exciting free fights seen on t.v should help ... and they seem to be bias towards certain weight classes as well ... just imagine the buzz that the Maquez v Vasquez trilogy wouldve created if they were to put that on BAD, WCB, and then PPV in the third and final fight ...

Wishful thinking. For the fights mentioned above, we are lucky just for that. HBO is a money machine and yes the undercards need some help.

Well if their undercards were a bit better then maybe ... but who wants to see these fighters who are losing too much and are aging a bit.

10 yrs ago ... HBO had

    Oscar
    PBF
    Gatti
    Tito
    V. Klitschko
    W. Klitschko
    Roy
    Shane
    Lennox Lewis
    Hopkins

and more fighters who were at the peak of their careers ... 0-3 L's ...

Now they're trying to live off of their names years later after many set backs ... and now the guys from Europe they were trashing, they're now trying to bring them to the US public.

No matter what you say about Floyd ... what you see is what you get ... and he doesn't pretend to be some kinda knockout artist, he's a boxer and he boxes ... thats all the fans expect PBF UD

If he gets a knockout, then thats a treat ... but people tune in to a Floyd fight so they won't miss a chance of him losing a fight.

PPV in my eyes is would only be acceptable for truly big event fights like PAC-MAYWEATHER or for fights cards that filled from top to bottom with good fights similar to how UFC does it.

Anything less would be uncivilized. :yep
