Are you kidding? I would pay for 10 rematches of Williams-Winky over paying for Klit-Chagaev. Williams-Winky was a fight with much more money value. I bet Wright, Williams, Taylor and Dawnson will each make more PPV numbers in their event than Klitschko ever will in his entire life.

The statement: Man up and fight more exciting/risk fights (instead of more dull handpicked fights) or you don't get paid!

Klitschko-Chagaev is a very good fight for 3 weeks notice and a very good fight for the Division period.

If as a Boxing fan (put aside your biases for a second) you can't understand that then you might want to follow a different sport.

How is it good? So Klitschko can easily beat Chagaev and then put the title on ice by not fighting Haye or Vitali, and fighting bums like Povetkin?

How is this a mismatch. #1 Vs #3, the winner should be undisputed champ. haye was ranked #9 only after getting rocked by Barrett who is ranked , No where.

you think Wlad is going to let people at HBO dictate his career?:nut There are no guarantees when Haye will be ready. There is much more on the line with RTL, the stadium, and sponsorships for the 20th to think about then just little HBO.

Wlad waiting for Haye?..what happens if Haye still is not ready and its gets close to the time Wlad is due to fight Povetkin, the IBF mand?...Should Wlad give up his belt to wait again for Haye if he's not ready?..i mean really buddy, when does it end? Wlad needs to fight...not sit all year waiting for little Davey

You are so worried about Klitschko winning you can't even objectively look at the fight.:rofl

Please explain to me why the winner of this fight would even need to fight David Haye a guy who has had 2 Heavyweight fights against mediocre opposition? Why?

If Chagaev wins he could fight VitKlit for total unification. But since a Klitschko is still involved I am sure you will say that is a crap fight too and means nothing. :patsch

I think this will be a good competitive fight that will help clear up the Heavyweight Divisoon and bring us closer to ONE Champion than we have ever been since Lennox Lewis retired.

David Haye is nothing in the Heavyweight Divison until he beats somebody. The Heavyweight Division does not evolve around Glass Jaw David Haye.

People sticking up for Wlad's side are being just as stubborn by not viewing HBO's side of things.
HBO was willing to pay for Wlad vs Haye. Now they are getting Wlad vs Chagaev. If you went down to the car store and bought a Ferrari, but then they deliver a 1978 VW Bug, you might want your money back. Of course you wouldn't afterall, they are both cars right? True but one car can get you laid, and the other one is Ruslan Chagaev.

There are many people in Boxing who have said that Klitschko-Chagaev is a better fight than Klitschko-Haye and I agree. There is much more on the line.

The only reason people are mad is they thought Haye had a chance to win and Chagaev does not. That is what all this really comes down too. People that watch and know Boxing know Chagaev has at least if not a better chance than Haye has.

This is a fight that will answer a lot of questions about the Division much more than David Haye ever would.

Wlad vs Chagaev is a pretty good fight, it's a big fight for the HW division, HBO could have picked it up as they have donne much worse recently, though I think they backed away bc it's not gonna be an action fan friendly fight and they already had too many of those boring ones from Wlad.

I just hope that ESPN picks it up so I can whatch it, really looking forward to.

    Problem is:

    1. Every sanctioning body ranks Chagaev higher than Haye
    2. This is a unification fight
    3. They had the $ for an unproven guy at heavyweight
    4. Haye is the 1978 VW bug. Chagaev may not be a Ferrari but he is at least a new model Lexus at heavyweight.

Let's not forget that Chagaev would own Haye if they ever fought.

Just wanted to repost this jackassery so you can see the type of blind, anti-Klitschko mindset some people have.

Calling an olympic champion, great contender like Povetkin a bum is just ******ed.

If that's so than there is two or three fighters in the world of boxing, at the most, who are not bums.

Dont care how it happen but it happen, fight should have happen like 2 years ago.

HBO should be a shame of themselfs, this is a higher fight than Haye ever was. More of the titles out of the way for unify and making Wlad in my book the lineal champ. if he wins. Or Chagaev.

This is a big stakes fight here.
