but HBO disrespects the brothers and the HW division yet thinks they will get the Klitschko-Haye or Adamak fight?:nut

The brothers and many will hold a grudge OR it will cost HBO even more $$$$$ then normal for HW fighters to go back to HBO after this move....

This move is not just against the brothers..its against the HW division..... and we, the fans, get screwed:-(

Yes, not showing horrible fights with the Sisters pawing a jab for 12 rounds, that no one would watch anyway, is going to end HBO.

HBO, the huge television network, worth billions of dollars, is going to fold because of this.

I wouldn't go that far. But it's laughable if HBO continues to promote itself as a boxing network when they refuse to show any heavyweight fights. Sure, the heavyweight division has seen better days, but there are still go fights out there to be made. Rejecting Vitali vs. a bum like Sos is one thing, but the Povetkin is one of the the 5 best heavies in the world and respresents a legitimate challege. HBO cannot continue to call itself a boxing network if they refuse to air the most meaningful heavyweight fight of the year simply because it is taking place in Europe.

The ONLY reson Arreola got on HBO was because he was Latino. He was the only HW they would show, but after showing up disgustingly out of shape and losing to the little TA............I think they have just thrown up thier hands.:nono

It's not because "it's in Europe."

HBO is a business. You understand that right? If they thought it was profitable to show Klit fights, they would show them, but obviously they don't think they are.

This is due to a lot of things - the Klits being non American, their boring styles, the weak opposition etc.

I don't know why I'm even responding to you, because you are consistently the stupidest person on the boards. But this is not only a rejection of the Klitschkos. Do you not grasp that? It is a rejection of the entire heavyweight division. You think they're going to show Haye vs. some bum or Adamek vs. Grant? Use that 84 IQ of yours before you open your big mouth. :D

Fail. I seem to remember them showing Adamek-Arreola just a few months ago, but refusing to show Vitali-Sosnowski/Johnson, and Wlad-Chambers.

I pay for HBO solely for boxing..........but it seems thier budget is small and are looking to only show fights "they think" will be entertaining. But it still sucks. Lewis made fun of Wlad during the Rahman fight when Wlad should have gotten the useless Rock out of there. He could have done it. Rock was a dead man 2 rounds before but you know Lewis DID THE SAME THING in his career many times. He was "boring" himself.:deal

HBO is a business that promotes itself as a boxing network. Do you understand that? Some subscribers pay their excessive fees because they promise to show the most important fights. Do you understand that? You can't show a fight like Arreola vs. Brian Minto because you think it might make you money and reject a fight like Wlad vs. Povetkin because you fear you might lose money and still call yourself a great boxing network.
