Chris John is a "cutie" according to Harold Lederman. Chris John is very comfortable now as he boxes from a distance. He gets hurt when Juarez comes in and nails to the body but Juarez isn't doing it enough. Juarez trying to push the fight to John but not ENOUGH body punches. Still at a distance as John paws away with a jab and a hook. Juarez NAILS John with a big right but John is able to shake it off. Rocky is surprisingly controlled as Chris John tries to jab Rocky backwards. Rocky is there to be hit but John doesn't have the pop for a KO. Another close round in a good fight. I give it to John. 3-1 Chris John.

38-38 even. John is starting to look very good. His movement is very fluid. If he had good power, he would be great, instead of very good.
Chris John trying to muscle Juarez around. John gets warned for pushing the head down. Rocky Juarez is GASHED now. Really bad. Juarez is covering up as Chris John is starting to get into his "riddum". Juarez is trying to catch John but John is just very slick. Chris John has a good chin and has that "hit me, I hit you back" attitude fighters need. John moving and Juarez is chasing. John is in his comfort zone and Rocky Juarez needs to change things up and soon before this fight gets away from him. 4-1 John.
Great fight so fare. Juarez has some great body work this round and Rocky LOOKS motivated. Chris John is getting tagged to the body and trying to come back with some wild punches. John gets tagged with a jab or two and returns fire. John getting head hunt happy while Juarez goes to the body. John ROCKS Juarez as the round ends but I'll favor the body work of Juarez on this one. Good fight. 4-2 John
