The headlines reads loud and clear from both fightnews and b-talk.
They aren't backing a froch fight. And the short list of opponents
(Kessler and winky) are causing jermains people to think SHOWTIME.
Froch, who's an exciting and beatable fghter w/ a genuine world title
isn't a worthy fight for HBO to show against taylor? OK!
    Fair enough i.......... i guess
And taylor and wright already fought once. OK!..........I'l bite
But, Kessler! not an interesting fight either for HBO?!
Showtime, must be loving HBO right now. That's like being the owner of a bistro and telling the customer our food sucks. You should go across the street to that bistro.
Fukkin HBO?! What and who are they protecting. If taylor loses, they still have 2 potentially good fights to air in a hot international division.
I'm quite sure the boxing public on both sides of the pond would get behind either Kessler/Taylor or Taylor/Froch, and they're both world title
    fights.
    HELP!!!:(

Any of the fights you have listed above would make great fights.

I'm sure you do as would most fans who care for the sports integrity, but HBO doesn't share our vision. They're probably l,ooking for Taylor to only fight calzaghe. That fight aint happenin' So fukk HBO. Showtime will aire it either taylor/ kess or frochy

Taylor against any of the top SM's - Kessler, Froch, Bute would be excellent fights even if he loses he could go down and be the litmus test againt the likes of Direll and Ward. The only reason I can think HBO don't want him is he's asking for too much money.

Jermain Taylor doesn't please enough for me to care if HBO cans him or not....... Too many "DECISION" fights for Taylor..... The only time he was involved in a wicked KO that was interesting was when he was clobbered by Kelly Pavlik in '07... As for Showtime, they are the # 2 network.... Right behind HBO.....:yep:hi::rasta

I agree with Bill, there is just too many compounding lack luster performances against the likes of Spinks, Ouma, and with the loses of against Pavlik, HBO won't be gun ho anytime for any Taylor fight unless its against a name that make sense money wise.

Sure, I'll understand the Froch fight not exciting them(though I completely disagree with it) maybe because Froch isn't popular enough but a fight with Kessler not interesting too? :patsch

HBO was sucking up JT for years, and he was never as great as they made him out to be. He had his time to shine & got 3 gifts(Hopkins, Wright), so I have no sympathy for JT. A dude with that much talent that hires a legendary trainer like Emanuel & cant even beat a one dimensional fighter like Pavlik does not deserve to be on HBO.

I already saw him fight, and you obviously didn't. His fight vs pascal was an entertaining fight to say the least. A froch fight vs kessler, wright, or taylor def garners any attention from HBO. You ****ing fairy boy.

This is some bull**** !! FrocH/Taylor is a fight I want to see ..What HBO finally realized that Pavlik/Lockeet 2 wasn't worth making ! I love it how now all of a sudden they don't want mis matches but if it weren't for the match making in mma the bull**** would still continue ..And Winky Wright is a boring fighter Froch Taylor would be much better fight than any Wright's involved in !!
