    Seriously!?

    Al Haymon just ruined Showtime.

HBO needs to be smart and never, ever deal with Haymon again. The man just f*cked over Showtime, and he'll do it to HBO too if they allow him.

Pacquiao-Algeri 2 or GGG-Murray?:barf No thank you, that's not even worthy of free network tv. Turtleman reruns are more worthy. Live action!

because haymon signed a deal where his star fighters (khan, broner, garcia, berto, lsc) were only going to fight on showtime.

these fighters were built up on hbo.

    Irrelevant.

Example: I was offered a new job, doing the same thing, except for more money and better benefits. My current job gave me my start, and I wouldn't have this other offer without that experience, but my current job will not give me a raise. i.e - I'm switching jobs regardless of what my first job did for me.

Money talks. If you say you wouldn't make the exact same decision, I say you're either lying, or very naive about how the real world works.

If HBO felt these fighters "were popularized because of HBO," then perhaps they should have put their money where their mouth is to ensure such fighters don't leave HBO for another organization? Expecting some sort of "loyalty" is ridiculous. It's a job, not slave ownership. Blaming Al Haymon is not only short sighted, but also inaccurate. HBO had the opportunity to make a deal. They lost the bid.
