No, 1080p is blueray quality and no tv station can broadcasts it. 720P and 1080i(which are about the same) is what they broadcast and its a step down from 1080p But yes they are in HD 720p quality, but the floyd fight is in a 4:3 box resolution and not a16:9 widescreen one. I watched them earlier on HBO on demand
Direct TV has the technology, currently they only provide 720P and 1080I for all HD programming... But they also Stream 1080P if you pay for a day rental of a new release movie... so the technology is there.

I actually checked them out again on HBO(on demand) a few days ago. Maybe PBF's best performance...considering the opponent. It's rare to see a fighter break someone down with jabs to the body like that. Those punches set up the decisive lead hooks that ended the fight... Cotto-Mosley was obviously a much more evenly contested battle.
