Not really. People want to see good fights. Most headliners are good to exceptional fighters. The bums open the card.

The only way a Rigo fight can be entertaining is if he fights a pressure fighter. A guy like Gradovich or Mares would make him fight a bit harder.

It's embarrassing for HBO when people change the channel. Even more so when people start leaving the fight early and you see empty seats. Either he start knocking out guys, which he is capable of, or take a pay cut and be on an undercard.

Mexican Russian, Japanese Mexican, Arce, Darchinyan, Ali Raymi, Segura, Roman Gonzalez all will make great TV opponents for Rigondeaux

NO, Most people would rather see a skilled fighter who is also willing to put on display equal amounts of heart which more often than not equals entertainment to us simple boxing fans.

Jumping 4 divisions :patsch He needs to go down not up

Rigondeaux should drop down to 112, where he can afford to slug it out. He can easily make 112, no point of being at 122 since his off TV anyways

he comes to the ring same weight as Flyweights do...he needs to drop the prude Amateur mentality, pickup titles at 112, 115, 118 Four time division Champion and KTFO everybody in the Lower weights to get respect back

#1 more like it. His victory over Donaire eclipses anything on Floyd's record.

This really ^. It sucks cos I'm just as much a fan of Rigos pure boxing as of the come forward pressure fighters, but I guess it is a business at the end of the day. There should be a place for all styles, but maybe someone's gonna have to explain Rigos position to him - more risks or less money.

lara, wladimir and rigondeaux have no place on american televisions. go for the knock out if your opponent isn't fighting back or get off television.

    Yeah I understand both sides.

Tv networks have to cater for what their audience wants.

From Rigo's point of view, he just simply has to win.

I don't think Rigo could adapt, he is a bit chinny.
Probably even better than Mayweather in the skills department though.
