HBO's refusal to show Wlad Klitschko's fights: In retrospect, was it a good decision?

    Wasch fight was the most exciting HW match I've seen in years. Thompson just stomped to **** yet another british fraud that was lauded as the next great. So yea, you're not doing well in this argument.

    People forget that PRIME RJJ had worse HBO ratings than Wlad.

    It's the lack of a hyped opponent. HBO would show Wlad if he fought in the states, or against a huge name abroad.

    ****** , so remind me when was wlad not on HBO , when he fought in US? The only reason they don't show his fights because of the time difference between Germany and US. He can fight any bum , anybody , as long as he fights in US the fight will always be on HBO.

    The last time he fought in the US he put on such a **** show he got banned from hbo and MSG.
    HBO brought him back for one time only when he fought David Haye who was the best opponent at the time. Why didn't HBO air all his fights since then?
    Because his opponents were a joke and it dont matter where he fights HBO will not broadcast **** fights against undermatched nobody's.
    They will broadcast Vitali because he fights somewhat like a champion.

    Isn't part of the reason they don't show him is he's on at 10pm in Germany so that's 4pm in NY and 1pm in LA. No much good for them. Anyway, I love watching him, nobody has ever hit harder than him.

    Ward fights out out the clinch and is great inside fighter.
    Wlad does nothing but bear hugging and back riding. Clump.

    It's still hit and hold :lol: Either way you spin it, both guys are terribly boring and that's the bottom line. Yet HBO now air Ward's fights, so we can establish that being boring isn't why they won't show Wladimir Klitschko

    Dumbass brittard he didn't get banned ,if he fights in US , he'll be on HBO , he can fight your limey ass and the fight will be on HBO as long as the fight is in US.

    HBO will still show Wlad fights. It just has to be a risky fight. Why would HBO go overseas to show Wlad fight Mormeck? No American fans wants to see **** fights. HBO was losing money on Wlad because the ratings were ****. But I like the fact that Fury is coming to America. If he wins his next fight he will be on HBO.

    Ward doesn't fight unranked bottom feeders that nobody ever heard of and is far from boring.
