Who has said they are being reduced? As far as I was aware Hearn was going to ask for a reduction but it depends on what his pay masters at Sky want.

I have no issues with Prizefighter when done correctly. The international versions are normally great fun to watch and the caliber of fighters is much higher than when it's a domestic tournament.

I mean the cruiserweight division is a pile of **** internationally so what bright spark thought a domestic version would work?

Wednesday night boxing? Can't see Eddie loving that idea = back to half full leisure centres. He should do a bunch of Friday fight nights, some of his prospects will be moving towards topping smaller shows, Friday nights make sense.

As long as you stick to local attractions the venues will still do well. They still do well with the Darts & Snooker on weeknights.

    Lee Selby in Cardiff
    Rocky Fielding in Liverpool
    Kalid Yafai in Birmingham
Theres a bunch of London fighters.

Stick this & Prizefighter on Wednesday nights when theres no European football.

Haye has said due to signing more fighters he will be doing less Prizefighters.

Just because you don't know who fighters are doesn't mean a division is ****. So many good fights at CW.

Also a division being internationally poor does not translate to it being domestically poor and vice versa.

Pull the other one Rob. Nobody cares about the CW division.

Are you actually trying to defend the most recent PF?

It will bomb, selby needs built up and that won't happen on a we'd night. Lindsey- Simpson was midweek (Wednesday I think) and the kings hall was empty - and Lindsey is normally a big ticket seller. Those fighters u name would do well on Friday fight nights and as they get bigger can move to sat night.

CW in Britain is looking up at the moment, several good fights to be made.

We had a guy fighting for world titles and but for the hardcore fans nobody gave a ****. As soon as he moved up to become a heavyweight suddenly people noticed him.

Let's not start pretending the cruiserweight division is one people discuss regularly.

Froch was a nobody until only recently outside of hardcore fans and he was super middle weight champion.

You don't care. But both at domestic & international level CW is a fun competitive division with some talented fighters.

I didn't watch it. Out of the 30 Prizefighters I have never watched one all the way through and probably missed half of them.

No. I dont see anything wich could make him a champion. Maybe he can improve.

I agree, not even sure if he will go past British champion at best
