He got a little hurt at the end of 1 round, that was it. The hyperbole around Price's modicum of success is hysterical

He also said he'd sent Wilder the contract.

    When will Wilder sign it?

True but it would take some of the appeal away. Even failure to get convincing knockout wins in his last two fights hurt his brand slightly.

His branding is aimed at casuals because he’s billed as this unbeatable athletic specimen who destroys all put in front of him. Failing to get KO’s or even being defeated hurts that a bit.

Hearn is right to be wary of Wilder because he knows Wilder has the potential to KO Joshua at any point, even if Joshua is dominating. Given Wilder’s previous, the KO would be brutal and this would really harm the Joshua image to see their golden boy sparked out.

    Yup.

I am a Joshua "fan" but to me it's been fairly obvious since Stiverne 2 that they don't fancy the Wilder fight right now.

Wilder has just had two highlight reel knockouts while Joshua has laboured with an early stoppage over Takam (who was probably goid to go the 12) and a pitty pat UD vs Parker.

Joshua simply hasn't looked devestating since the Klitschko fight, and I think theres reasons for that.

Joshua WILL NOT be able to tap wilder with a jab for 12 rounds, if he tries it Wilder will start lobbing haymakers at his head.

I think Joshua is in a bit of a transition of styles right now, they are trying to make him a backfoot, measured fighter when truth is he is better as a boxer/puncher.

I could rant on for hours but they just don't want Wilder right now and tbh i dont blame them as im starting to belive (post parker) that Wilder cleans him out

He mentioned the other week that AJ had been in camp for a number of weeks.

Id rather he just come out and said look we are fighting povetkin next and see Wilder as a fight for next summer.

Done, over, get called cowardly ducking frauds for a year and just do the fight when they cant take it anymore.

The problem with that is wilder and his team dont want it yet either. Wilder and Joshua is next year. It will not be the next fight. I have a feeling end of this month Joshua will be signed to fight povetkin and say we ran out of time negotiating with wilder and his team.
