Stupid thread. Hearns had a faster right hand, a harder punching right hand, and much more accurate. Very dangerous hand, more so than Tito.
hearns was a horrible match up for duran. duran said the last thing he remembers from that fight is when he was going into the ropes..... then came the right hand from hell.
really unfair. tito was a devastating puncher, he shouldn't be shitted on so much. he pretty much ended vargas' career with a single punch. still, hearns did that to a lot of people. that ko of duran is one of the most impressive of all time.

Tito used illegal wrapping in his gloves. His power punches diminished a lot after being caught up with it. Mayorga invited tito to punch his chin and Mayorga absolved those punches well.
