Since Vitali is going to duck Stiverne he should be rewarded the belt.

How was Stiverne beating Austin an 'eliminator'?

Austin was coming off a loss and had won just 4 of his last 7 fights -- one of the losses being a 2-round TKO -- and the best win being against a WAY past-it Golota?

Who here jumped up and said, "GIVE STIVERNE A TITLE SHOT, HE'S BESTED THE GREAT RAY AUSTIN?"

You want to credit him beating Arreola, sure, but this "he's won two eliminators, he's being shafted" ... the WBC called that a fight for their 'silver' title so they could collect a fee, but don't act like he earned anything by beating Austin.

He does have a couple decent wins and a bucket load of worthless regional belts so I guess you could make an argument for him over Jennings.

Wilder hasn't fought anyone it the top 50! Jennings has fought much better competition than Wilder and so has Arreola. Vitali will let the WBC know when his hand will finally be healed, then he should go ahead and knock Stiverne out and have his last fight with Wilder, a sure knockout victory before he retires.

Yep, Wilder would knock Vitaly out, there´s a reason why Vitaly is sitting on his title, refusing to fight his mandatory Stiverne. He simply knows, he is not able to beat those younger guys anymore.

Arreola got beaten up worse than Charr by Vitali. And has compiled two losses since, still he's in the tournament because he's latino :deal

OMG... how did they come up with those rankings?!

1 - Bermane Stiverne (Canada) SILVER
2 - Chris Arreola (US) INTL
3 - Deontay Wilder (US) AMERICA
    4 - Bryant Jennings (US)
    5 - Mike Perez (Cuba/Ireland) USNBC
    6 - Manuel Charr (Lebanon/Syria) INTL SILVER / MEDITERRANEAN/BALTIC/CISBB
7 - Derek Chisora (GB) EBU
    8 - Tyson Fury (GB)
    9 - Tomasz Adamek (Poland)
    10 - Odlanier Solis (Cuba)
    11 - Lucas Browne (Australia)
    12 - Fres Oquendo (P. Rico)
    13 - Artur Szpilka (Poland)
    14 - Eric Molina (US)
    15 - Johnathon Banks (US)

I know they excluded Haye because of the whole unsanctioned fight thing and being ridicilously inactive, but where the F are Pulev and Helenius?
With Windmiler and Jenni high up there based on beating who? :blood The only top50 guy between them was Audley freakin' Harrsion, based on winning some low end tourney.
