David Tua over Rahman. Rahman was undefeated while Tua was a year removed from losing to Ike. Rahman was bigger and more athletically gifted and going into the fight I picked Rahman to win off the strength of his jab. I was way wrong.

The only ones coming to mind are the Spinks brothers HW title wins. It doesn't really count because Ali and Holmes are past prime.

Speed is always tricky to measure and dont roll your eyes.

Is it the amount of distance you cover in the ring? Is it the amount of pitty pats you can fit into a flurry?

My metric for speed has always been the amount of time for a fighter to punch, slip, weave, or step from point A to point B.

    Or is it?

    Either way Rocky Marciano #1

Braddock was not 20lbs smaller than Baer. That's a bad answer.

You think Baer was slower than Carnera, yeah?

There was not a 20lb difference here.

Is 20lbs maybe too big a difference? I'll change it to 15.

Well the first one wouldn't count because Leon wasn't ranked.

The second one wouldn't count because there's not a 15lb difference. They were basically the same weight.

Yeah, I changed it to 15lbs.

I think that people can engage with the speed question themselves.

Wasn't he? Oh, my bad. I thought it was 210-190.

Pretty much. Especially in the feet.

I think i'd put an unreserved blue ribbon on this one since the change to 15lbs.

The only thing I could find was 6'1 Karl Mildenberger vs 6'5 Gerhard Zech for the European title so they may have been ranked. Can't find any info on their exact weights.

Were Quarry and Mathis ranked when they fought? Quarry was 3 inches shorter and 40 lbs lighter.

Let's wait and see how many folks agree Carnera was faster than Baer.
