Rpcly? He was not broad even for a HW of his time. Great, very strong for his size, but small for a HW, without a lot of muscle mass or very big bones. Duran is a horrible example. At most he was broad for his natural weight, LW. Compared to even an average HW he is tiny in every way. The broadest will be someone really large in bone structure, fat & muscle. Like Valuev & Butterbean.
Rocky had barely over an avergae wrist, almost exactly average, & his anjles were fairly thick, assuming it was not rounde dup. Still not so big for a HW, let alone modern SHW. Yes he was strong & ripped, I said so about his strength above, he dieted down to be relatively ripped, & that is not being debated. But absolutely none of his proportions were large for a HW, let alone being a candidate for even wide shoulders for a HW, let alone amongst the widest. Here is a standard tale of the tape.
