I'll take Wlad any day over guys like Stiverne, Fury, Wilder and Povetkin doing a circle jerk over the ABC belts.

Vitali was only active 4 of Wlad's 9 dominating years. He's been gone for the last two. Quit crying.

    Blade,

Wlad's KO's rule. Without him the division would be less relevant.

Do you want four different champions who will milk their WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF belts without meeting each outer? Think about it man. It would be a mess and a joke.

If you want to say without Wlad we might get more competitive fights, or upsets, okay. But you must admit that is only because he's that much better than everyone else.

Basically what THE BLADE is saying if Wlad was less dominant - e.g. lazy in training and fat - and had a couple more losses recently then the division would be more competitive and thus the division would be 'better off'. Makes zero sense.

A good division lives off champions who maximize their potential and Wlad is just doing that.

    Fair points.

At this point, at nearly 40 years old, being an undisputed dominant longtime champ, you would want Wlad to take on only the best opponents.

It is very disappointed to see him take on somebody like Jennings at this stage.Jennings is not a mandatory defense.

You expect brothers to fight? Why don't the Petersen brothers or the Charlo brothers fight then? That is kinda ridiculous don't you think?

Why is that what we need?

Why don't we need entertainers like Bowe, Holy ,Tyson, Ruddock , Morrison , Lewis etc.

Something seems to be very wrong with you my friend.

No , it would be better off without him because his fights are all horrible , unwatchable foul fests.

I, for one, would like to see Wlad dominate until he's around Hopkins' age - and I don't think it's entirely out of the question, either.

I knew you would say Fury
wrong wrong wrong... MSG is not a good place & HBO wants a fight in the states. Thats a mand fight and will happen in front of 60-70,000 people......IN TIME

This is a voluntary defense and a good one...you really think Fury would have said yes to a fight in NY at a 18,000 seat arena?

Fury is not dumb... this fight is soccer stadium all over it.... on top of that, you let the fight "brew" with the fans for several months so the interest grows even stronger... you know the game

to say FURY at MSG in April is just dumb
