I think it's about time you shuddered one of your 9 irons off his head. Maybe knock some sense into him.
Well, it seems as if every thread with redrooster posting in that somehow touches Leonard is absolutly pointless.
To be honest with you I never thought Leonard would fight Hector. It was always so hard to get him to fight. You never knew when or who he'd decide to fight...until he picked a fight with Hector. I always knew Hector was better though. I knew it ever since I watched him embarrass and dismantle olympic team mate Howard Davis jr in front of him. I thought why does leonard get to fight lifeless opponents like Hagler while ignoring lightning fast boxers like Camacho? Hector was the best p4p fighter in 1987-by default. Hagler was now headed for pasture (not Valhalla where Leonard went) I knew that even in an over the weight match like Johnson-Ketchel or Robinson-Angott, that Hector could take him. I felt Camacho would be too fast, too quick and that he could take Ray's best shot. No way could Ray land more than a glancing blow and he might as well leave the combinations at home. And just as he showed in the Davis fight, my man could be a devestating body puncher as well. Those repeated right hooks to the ribs would hurt Ray leonard. Hurt him worse than anything he'd ever felt in his life. After just a few rounds, Leonard would be holding his ribs like a woman experiencing a bad case of cramps. But I think he could make it through the ten rounds. I really do.
Camacho also has a win over a prime Vinny Pazienza. That is also amazing. A past his prime Pazienza defeated Dana Rosenblatt, which was something a prime Terry Norris(only 31) could not do. In fact, the Rosenblatt people may have even been stepping down in class to face Norris since Dana lost to someone like Pazienza in an earlier outing. They felt that Dana needed to go and face the Glenwood Browns and Terry Norrises of the world before they dare take on someone like a sub prime Pazienza again. Way to go Hector. You got this monster near his peak.
Camacho going anywhere near a prime Leonard would have been a massacre. The massacre in favour of Leonard of course.
