I grew up watching a prime Camacho and totally idolized the guy back then. But i think Manny's power would be the difference. Pacs boxing skills is very underrated by many. Pac by Ko.
Well one thing if camacho live up to his potential,he would have had bigger wins. He would have never had those close fights with Haugen he would have beaten him more convincingly,he also would have had beaten Mancini more convicingly, and Probably would have had a more impressive run at 140. Hes still a hall of famer, he seemed to not be fighthing like an atg after the Rosario fight turned from a great fighter to just a good fighter. Although he probably would have never beaten Chavez he would have made it real competetive instead of losing a one sided beat down... Ok that being said Unlike many other boxing fans i am a camacho fan. I always enjoyed his crazy rants and trash talk, he seemed to be more ali than floyd of naseem in that he was pretty funny and seemed to be more humor than cocky and arrogant, but id have to take manny in this fight against even a prime camacho camacho would have his moments and this would be competetive until the mid to late rounds where macho man would not want anymore of the fury pacman would bring to him He gets on his bike and manny sweeps the last 4 rounds. Remember he was holding on for dear life after tasting Rosarios power. I would say manny wins 115-113 116-112 115-113 unanamous decision
I Remember those fights when Camacho pummeled his opponents and sent them crashing out the ring ropes. That was awesome stuff by a young Camacho. But i still believe Pacquiao is the more special fighter.
i agree cause not only was camacho fast with his hands but also with his feet and remember marquez gave manny him hell in 2 fights cause he never gave manny a target in which camacho can do much better
