Helenius is overrated

You cannot be "overrated" when you have earned your rating.

In an era when guys like Briggs, Rahman and Holyfield keep recycling themselves by going out and beating crash test dummies, zombies, one eyes hell's angels and Tiajuanna cab drivers, it is nice to see a guy who is taking on his third former titlist in only 16 fights.

 

This makes little to no sense.

Just one part of this post that makes no sense... Lets bring up the one eyed shot to **** Lamon Brewster that Helenius beat.

Alfonso Gomez has beaten lots of former belt holders as well. Doesn't mean much in this day and age.

 

And yet Peter was still a top contdner at the time.

Don't know how long you have watched this sport, but it is traditional to move guys up the ladder by having them face faded former champs and contenders. It is very unusual to have them do so this quikcly.

 

I never declared that he was being moved too slowly.

I never said his opposition was absolute garbage.

I do however believe that he's overrated. The first two don't need to apply for the third to be possible.

 

i think he was taking his cardio for granted. this fight, u could see hes less flabby and more toned. hopefully, it shows in his performance

 

And my point-again- is that he has earned the ranking that he has.

He is ONLY 15-0 and watch those names in his record! Yes he is still raw, he is still ameteurish but god dammit he is just learning the game. It his third year in the game, cmon guys!! ESB really sucks and there is not too much guys who knows anything about boxing. How many guys you have seen in past years who has better record after 15 fights? People are crying that there is too many boxers who fights only against tomato cans but when there is a guy with 15-0 and has fought against dangerous guys for his experience, what happens? People are still crying..

Liakhovich might be a dangerous opponent for Helenius but I don't ****ing care if Helenius losses. I'll give him respect for taking those fights. He is a the man. WAR HELENIUS
