Helenius's Chin is GONE!

Helenius is just another failed European fighter. Since the Klitschko's are gone Europe is producing bums. They all cut easy and can't take a punch.

 

When did Zakman's glass jaw fail him? He must have one, it's the only reason that makes any sense as to why he's so desperate for all these boxers to also have them. It makes them feel better about taking a nap anytime he tries to eat anything that offers more resistance than a hearty broth.

 

Lamon Brewster was past his prime, Liakhovich was never known for being a big puncher. Chisora was never known for being a big puncher. Teper is a no talent PED cheat. Sam Peter was waayy past his prime. Whyte isn't much of a fighter despite what some Brits might tell you.

 

The problem is his stamina, not the chin .

 

His chin never came in the first place.

 

I thought his stamina looked better in this fight and was well on his way to winning the 8th until Washington hurt him before knocking him out. To Washinton's credit, his stamina had also improved from previous outings and looked better than he has in a while.

A good matchup and a decent win for Washington who I thought we'd never see again after getting destroyed by Kownacki. More even matchups like this need to happen.

 

Damn. I was watching the Vargas vs Kameda card and missed a good old fashioned glass shattering.

Helenius never had much of a chin, but he had better stamina which allowed him to hold his hands up. Now that he gasses so easily his chin is open season to anyone that can hit it.

And Washington is no scrub. He's a top fifteen HW.

 

Yeah, it was priceless. Helenius was winning the fight pretty easily, and then Washington - hardly known as a big puncher - pasted him.

That's a glass shattering, pure and simple. Folks can deny it all they want, they can post juvenile personal attacks against those of us who point this out, but those who have been following boxing for 35 years like I have know full well, GLASS JAWS EXIST IN BOXING!!!!!!!

 

I love Zakman having the audacity to call people laughing at his childish devotion to 'chin-checking' as 'juvenile'. Amazing scenes.

 

he had a serious fall when his soup was topped off with croutons.

 

Once the croutons get you it's downhill from there. Dumplings, boiled vegetables, bits of slightly undercooked noodle. All pose a threat.

 

Sad times for the Zakman and his dreams of one day being able to enjoy pasta al dente.
