Help:I was kod 3 times in 2 bouts by 1 guy!

I was a helluva fighter, but one guy had my number ! I was ko'd by one guy
THREE times in TWO fights. Who was I ?

 

Tiger Flowers, was stopped by Jack Delaney 3 times in 2 fights.

Yes Henry, it was Tiger Flowers ,who was kod 3 times in two bouts in one
month in 1925.:good

 

One of the fights gets restarted after you have been KO'd, and you duly do the honours again!

K, Good question ! On Jan.16,1925, the great Jack Delaney ko'd Tiger Flowers
in the second round. Flowers wanted a return bout with Delaney. So on
Feb.26,1925 at MSG,they met again.In the second round Delaney hit Flowers on the chin with a right hand flooring Flowers on his back, where the referee counted Flowers out. But Tiger Flowers corner claimed it was a "fast count",
and fearing a riot by fans of Tiger Flowers, Jack Delaney agreed to continue the fight. In the fourth round Jack Delaney,hit Flowers again with a right cross and knocked Tiger Flowers cold,ending the fight. So Tiger Flowers was ko'd by Jack Delaney THREE times in TWO FIGHTS in 1925...Hope i answered your question...b.b.
