So would you say then, based on our conversation and leftys post that hard day, easy day going forward. But what would constitute an easy day? A big strength session? An easy run? :goodCheers scrap

honestly mate this is the sort of mentality that will hold you back from getting actually strong, 40k per hand is total ****, especially for a PRO athlete. you NEED some base strength.

facebook or PM me when you fancy mate, I'll help you out!

Define a 'PRO athlete'? Is that easy or necessary for a lawn bowler? A tennis player? A soccer player? Every sport has it's own demands and so does every individual.
Bit of a blanket statement from you, boxing isn't a strongman contest. If BB devoted extra time to getting 'strong' in the weight room at this point he'd probably decrease his power for his fight. Technique, rate of force development (not absolute force) and sufficient recovery (for the nervous system/glycogen stores) should be the focus.

Jeff its all about maintainance, sport at a High Level needs Finetuning. You are a Racing Car, not a Ford Van, Racing Cars need Fine Tuning more can go wrong. At the moment youre overheating, is it the Radiator, the electrics or Lubrication youre short of. If you are not carefull you will **** the Engine. At the moment I think its just the Tapitts, keep going it will be the Bigends, then you will have a problem. Your Body cant cope, its telling you, Listen.

it takes the same time to train like **** and get nowhere, as it does to actually get stronger, more powerful, and prevent injuries. the fact you bring up rate of force and lawn bowling, I don't really want to post anything longer than this.
