Best serious advice I can give is don't neglect your back and legs. Don't be one of these **** who doesn't squat. Squatting is ESSENTIAL.

I bought the Rosstraining full throttle conditioning book .That's my favourite and the best book i've ever bought and read .It's quality for keeping weight off you .I do alot of indoor conditioning but tbh I could use a good decent strenght programme .I've got infinate intensity I just haven't got that much into it .I like mixing burpees up with jumprope that's good for footwork .I still haven't fought but i'm almost ready for a bout in the ametuars.

Have 9 weeks off then bosh some press-ups and star jumps every other day for the last week (take the weekend off, obviously). The feeling of relaxation over 9 weeks will far outweigh the tiny achievements gained in 10 weeks of hard training.

Star jumps are proper fun too.

friday make it an explosive/power/strength/"heavy" day as you are close to the end of your week, or shorter sprints, sledgehammer stuff, that sort of thing maybe, rest the other half day.

How do people honestly expect to gain strength only lifting 1 or 2 times a week?

you can, just slower, especially for a more advanced lifter. but, as a beginner in strength terms, you can make some ok progress on 2 days a week. its not ideal, but its to complement a sport, not the ultimate priority. if he squats twice or even once a week whereas before he was not doing it at all, you can see the benefit.

How do people expect to be better boxers if they prioritise strength training?
