Herbie Hide vs David Price

Hide was seriously talented, fast/athletic/powerful/fearless. He makes Price look silly. But then gets clipped! Heck he made Bowe and Vitali look very puzzled before they landed…

Bowe and Vitaly are ATG HW’S. Price isn’t. Hide flattens him early.

 

Hide was fearless albeit limited, I think he'd overwhelm Price. Price would have frozen against Bowe, Herbie had an actual go.

 

Exactly this, Hide just went for it and, crucially, kept getting up, something Price never could, I honestly thought he'd died for a second when Teper clipped him.

 

so did I and Teper wasn't a massive puncher. Hide was bonkers, I think that can be a good asset as he had no fear. I remember him getting chinned against a random bloke called Chingangu as they showed it on BBC (used to love some of the BBC fights - Froch, Reid, Carl Thompson), he rematched him and KOed him. Pricey did have poor luck with fighting PEDheads though bless him.

 

Herbie too explosive for Price

 

Price froze against thompson, his feet would be frozen to the changing room floor if he had to face Bowe.

Anybody picking Price in this matchup is clueless, domestic level fighter who got battered by Chisora.
