Here is the first part to DLH-Trinidad, follow the rest of the fight.

Lederman is hot and cold. Sometimes he's dead on and does a great job of describing the action. Other times it seems like he has his mind made up before the fight even starts.

 

People wanted a Margo/Cotto fight but that was'nt going to happen in this fight because both Tito/Oscar are smarter and better than Cotto-Margo. And yes I also felt it was a good fight.

 

It failed to live up to expectations. Oscar never fought like that in any other fight. It was frustrating watching him run around the ring like that. This coupled with Tito's inablility to cut off the ring made the fight relatively boring.

Yeah. In 9-12 he moved beautifully as well. Ran like Boy George getting chased by an enraged Clubber Lang, circa 1983. Stays on his toes like the Golden Ballerina that he is.

In the amateurs or the Olympics, Oscar would have won hands down, why he reverted to an amateur style is beyond me. Pitty pat slaps dont count in the pros, baby!

Oscar boxed his ears off for 5 rounds, and got outboxed for 6 rounds, do you know how to do simple math? 1 round was even, that makes it 6-5-1 Trinidad W12 DLH, because Oscar looked like a little ballerina rounds 2-4 and landed a few light combos on Trinidad, does NOT mean he won the fight, you dickless pile of garbage. :hi:

 

Honestly, this was the first time I've watched this fight other than a few highlights. Oscar certainly did not fight to win rounds 11 & 12, but from what I've read on posts is that he ran around the ring like Ravishing Ronno in rounds 10-12. The biggest surprise about this fight is overall how ordinary Trinidad looked, hard to believe.

I scored it 7 for DLH, 3 for Trinidad, 2 even

 

You need to change your name to "gaythomas"...it's amazing to me the amount of Oscarsexuality that exists, both here on ESB, at the Pound, and at Macksboxing. This fight was nearly 10 years ago, in fact, in one month on the 9th Anniversary of the Fight of the Millenium, I plan to sip some champagne and watch the last 3 rounds. The Oscar fanboys still have heartburn with the fact that Trinidad outboxed Oscar, 6 rounds to 5.

But people like me, and my main Dawg, KAYGB and my good brothers, Johnny Alucard, Dr. Menard, and Tommy Vercetti, are here and at those other sites, and we shall continue the Crusade against the Pestillence that is and was Oscarmania.

Then Don shall lead, us, his Flock into the Elysian Gardens of Eden. With Carl sitting on his right, and Henrietta beside him, as his Queen, we his Children shall sit at his feet, and learn Grace, and sing praises to his Glorious Name, forever and ever, while naked ring-girl Angels of Mercy feed us milk and honey and wine.
