He does look in good shape. And seemingly buzzing and genuinely motivated.



Important attributes that Andy commonly did fall short on at times.

 

Also, isn’t this video pretty old? In his IG posts, Ruiz Jr seems way more interested in vacations than training.

 

This video is from a year ago. He doesn’t look like that now.

 

Andy Ruiz is a dumpster fire that should have been put out after his "fight" with Arreola and draw with Miller.

 

He looks good, hopefully he keeps working hard in the gym and gets down to Bridgerweight. I think he's too small for Heavyweight IMO.

Wow! Looks like Andy got off the Krispy Kreme diet and is taking his training seriously. Would love to see his skills in action at this reduced weight

 

He always posts these videos where he looks in shape and then comes in the same weight as usual

 

I will never forget the BS he pulled before the Joshua rematch.

 

Ruiz have any fight on the horizon? This video like others have said is old and he uses filters and slimming colors and angles in his videos.

 

Every couple years, Ruiz releases a few short clips where he is in shorts and a t-shirt (usually a black shirt, which has a slimming effect) talking about how hard he’s working and how he’s back. In this video, he does a few body weight squats (with poor form), and that’s about it. Then people get online to say how good he looks, only for him to show up at weigh-ins looking as obese as ever (or setting a new all time personal high for his weight). Nothing against the guy, but I’m not getting excited until he shows me something in the ring in an actual fight.

By the way, his voice, mannerisms, and general way of speaking is starting to remind me a lot of De La Hoya.
