You seem to forget that Cotto had a chance to leave Top Rank just before this fight was made... and you seem to forget that Cotto seem to have stayed with Arum to have a crack at Pac.

Bottom line, Pac asked for 143, Cotto requested 145, Pac said OK and fight was made.

From their last official weigh in, Pac went up 7, Cotto went down 1 when they settled for 145.

pac was then fighting at 135 when odlh offered pac to fight him at 147. odlh (and other keyboard warriors in esb) thought he could murder pac in less than three rounds. sad thing is, pac made odlh quit from his stool.

then there's the hatton fight. many boxing fans thought hatton would throw pac like a rag doll in the ring. but pac made hatton like a vegetable in the middle of the ring.

then there's the cotto fight. pac asks for 143, miguel gave 145. the deal was made @ 145. many of us here questioned the catchweight issue, but we know for sure it's not pac who initiated this catchweight bull****.
