Pacquiao moved up 7 lbs. from his last weigh-in weight (138 ) and Cotto just moved down only 1 lb. from his last weigh-in weight (146).

The catchweight of 145 lbs. is fair whichever way you look at it.

De la homo cherry picked Pac and got what he deserved. An ass whooping!! De la homo fought forbes at 150 prior to the pac fight. pac only fought 1 time at 135 and then wen't straight up to 147. Who in their right mind would jump from 135 to 154 *******!!

Catch weights are fine in my opinion as long as they are not fighting for titles.

It seems ridiculous to me to ask for a catch weight and also ask for the fighters' belt to also be put on the line, so you can parade around with the belt.

You want the belt? Well.... Fight at the weight limit in which the belt was earned, and quit being a *****.

You have to remember that Cotto was PAC's 1st WW fight against a real WW so PAC's team was still testing the waters. See if he really belongs there and can take WW's.

After seeing how he handled Cotto that night, I blamed him for asking for the catch weight but before the fight along with most boxing fans I thought that since Cotto agreed to the catch weight then it's ok. Now that we know he can deal with welters, PAC asking for catchweights againts welters would be ridiculous.
