Walters has a chance if he fights his fight. No point tryna outbox Loma ain't gunna happen Walters need to use the Salido tactic and push him back. It will be competitive in my opinion and if Walters isnt affected to basbasd by the lay off, although I think Loma wins I'll be betting on Walters coz he will severely underpriced.
True, speaking from personal experience here (along with just the common wisdom of nearly every coach in the world) if you're more of a textbook and "technically correct" boxer, shorter guys (and guys with Salido's build/temperament/style in particular) are the absolute worst pains in the ass to fight. Taking away taller people's jab to open up scoring opportunities with counters and negating range with footwork is boxing 101.
lmfao have you seen what lomachenko does to he's oppenents jabs? all lomachenko oppenents have between a 1% and 7% success rate with the jab, basically a jab doesnt work against lomachenko and it will be no different with walters in fact this is why the fight will be so easy for lomachenko, walters whole offense is set up off the jab, once thats gone he will be a sitting duck
Absolutely. It's going to take decent counter punching on the backfoot to neutralise the opponent, this being encompassed by a DEFAULT strategy that responds precisely to the awkward pressing attack of the opponent. Just like they love to establish their rhythm and program you into their rhythm, you must develop your style to consider their pattern of movement - that is what separates a special conventional boxer to just another one. Mikey Garcia does this well - this is his main focus throughout (edit, although he's not exactly your cut and dry conventional). Walters is only capable of doing this on a smaller scale as he hasn't on a fundamental level accounted for the type of fighters you speak of. One major reason why although he beat Sosa, Sosa was largely competitive and Walters was unable to land cleanly anywhere near as often as he genuinely intended to. Pro-active positioning just not there in his repertoire. Nicolas Walters' conventional footwork is going to be his downfall. Static back foot in conventional stance too, which helped him with his frame, height and reach to be further out of range and in a position to notice immediate attacks. Unfortunately for him, that's not how Loma rolls.
I Am currently at a pizzari where everything's in Italian Unmmmm should be delicious Whatever the FK I order
We're going to see the difference between an upper tier world title level fighter and a historical level one. Axe Man is no joke, but he's just running into the wrong guy.
Just finished a very strange pizza but it was off the chain. One of the few Perks of travling. I love real Mexican food and in Augusta, GA I found a little store front place next to a service station where a little Mexican lady made her stuff fresh daily and it was FK N incredible
