close to 9-1 for Lennox . . . personally I cannot believe it is that close! Joe Calzaghe must be the most overrated fighter in the eyes of his fans! I think they do not realize by trying to shove his "greatness" down the throats of people cause fans to react the exact opposite. I think joe is one of the best if not the best Super middle weight of all time but it is a very short history. I also cannot erase his "slap happy" fighting style. IMO in order to be considered great you have to be able to throw a proper punch

You think he'd beat Prime Jones and Toney? Or was it the badly part you disagree with?

Is there anybody you think could beat Calzaghe?

    Been done to death.

    Lewis wins on ESB.
Calzaghe wins in most other places.

Calzaghe was simply a better fighter & never got KO`d by anyone never mind 2 below average contenders.

    Next ?

Lewis for me. Calzaghe's a great fighter, of course, with the 'all-important' unbeaten record but, despite LL's 2 losses, he's regularly fought a higher standard of fighter

Lewis is in my top 60 p4p all time and is one of the 5 greatest heavyweights ever.

Joe Calzaghe was a great SMW but p4p historically doesn't make my top 75.

I think it would be safe to say any of the top 30 HWs are higher on the list than the greatest supermiddle. I'll rank him higher than Joe Bugner if that helps Joe.:good

He'd be fifth among British boxers, behind Lennox Lewis, Ted "Kid" Lewis, Jack "Kid" Berg, and Bob Fitzsimmons. Would Brits get mad if I said Joe was better than Henry Cooper? I know they revere him for flooring Ali on the way to have half his face torn off.
