Hold on everyone....is the Floyd/Guerrero fight ACTUALLY official?

You must really rate Floyd highly to say that fighting a top 5 welterweight, coming off a couple of big wins,and a 4 weight world champ is a cherry pick.

 

To win 2 Ring titles in the space of 5 months would be impressive by anyone's standards.

It could be spoilt by the winner of Brook vs Alexander if they bump the winner though.

It is man, Guerrero might be coming off good wins against much lesser competetion (he went life and death against Aydin and Berto, neither of which are elite), but he aint nowhere near Floyds level, and thats the problem. Canelo isnt elite yet either but he is clearly a league above Guerrero, and its a fight that people actually want to see.

This fight aint nothing but a cherry pick for him to look good against this blown up lightweight (literally fighting as a lightweight last year) who is outmatched in practially every single aspect.
Why his fans are content to see him dominating someone this overmatched is beyond me

Thats what Elerbe said. They want the two Mexican holidays and it makes sense. Easy-ish fight vs Guerrero and Canelo fights on the same date setting up the mega clash in september
