Great fight. JMM will make Khan look good and make him a star. Hopefully this fight happens and we get to see Khan take another step along his road to all time greatness.

Call me crazy but I would more rather see JMM take on Katsidis and Khan-Maidana, Marquez has messed around Katsidis for ages he still hasn't officially vacated the title and he fought Mayweather quite a while ago and Katsidis has earned has shot at Marquez and a big fight. With Amir I want to see him take on Maidana it's the perfect fight to decide who goes onto the big time and big fights in America instead he has gone over there and decided he is a big star already.

I think people are writing Marquez off way too soon.

Had to laugh the other week when they were talking about Hatton's comeback fight.... they mentioned someone who I can't remember, then pointed out that Marquez would be an easier fight.

    WTF?

So what, he loses to Mayweather in a fight in which he didn't have a single advantage..... against Khan he isn't up against a genius like Mayweather. Khan still made a few mistakes against Kotelnik, blasting out Salita told us nothing - other than the fact that Khan put in a good camp and professional performance to get rid of an opponent that shouldn't have been in the same town as him.

I'd still tentatively pick JMM, by stoppage probably.

I would have preferred to have seen Khan-Maidana but from a promoter's POV it makes sense.

Great fight. JMM is in another league but Khan is younger, bigger, stronger, faster, more powerful and fresher. JMM needs to show some serious skills and tap into some intangiables like stamina, power and Khans poor chin.

I actually think it's a more dangerous fight for Khan
Marquez might catch him with some accurate counter punches!

Marquez was in trouble against feather fisted Diaz at 135, I take Khan to stop him.

If Marquez wins he would be the first Mexican to win titles in four different weight divisions. War Dinamita!!!

Of course it does:good. Just one reason why JMM is the most kick-ass fighter of all time:deal. As a fan, I don't want him to push it, though. I think he can boss 135 for some time yet and I think someone as rangy as Khan isn't the best idea for his next fight, TBH. I personally think JMM has the beating of all of the other champs at 140, though. Either way, I shall always be supporting my man...

    DINAMITA! DINAMITA! DINAMITA! :deal:bbb:yep:happy:woot:thumbsup

Whilst it should be stressed that 140 is not the natural weight for Marquez, this is still a very winnable fight for JMM and i cant believe the arse licking that Khan has received with his victory over a top 30 fighter in Salita.

Whilst Khan will hold the size advantage i think JMM is as we all know a quality opperator and i think this is a wrong fight for Khan.

I didn't see any of that after that victory actually. Most people felt Salita was average and didn't give Khan much credit for the victory.
