Excuses? The excuses to NOT fight have all came on the side of Floyd. Floyd nor Manny can do the kind of numbers without one anther so the split should be 50/50.

Manny saw that and actually WANTED to make the fight during the first round of negotiations when he could have used his PPV Buys with Cotto as reason to demand the lions share. But he didn't.

Instead Manny gives Floyd 50% and Floyd ducks out by pulling a ***** move...spreading baseless accusations and set up demands for the "fight killer". Olympic testing for the man he accused of taking some kind of A side of Meff ****.:rofl

Floyd working the angle that his PPV numbers were better than Pac's in their most recent fights is anther obstacle or way to dip out on taking the challenge. If it ain't one thing to excuse him from stepping up to face Manny it will be anther.

Honestly Floyd needs to just man the **** up and knuckle down. If he stuck to the script and conducted business as usual we would have been seen this fight.

Floyd is the WAY bigger draw? Sure there buddy...:smoke Manny is bay FAR the bigger draw world wide. US PPV #'s are only a small part of this equations bro. You are on a surface level and I'm peeling back the layers to this onion.

And if you don't believe the economy has anything to do with PPV numbers in teh US or WORLDWIDE for that matter all you gotta do is check the stats. In 2006 and 2007 PPV buys for sporting events were by far higher in the US than it was for the years 2008-2009. I'm sure that may be a bit over your head but it's all good. i don't mind schooling youngins on what's real. Just try to keep up.

DLH wasn't in his prime when FLoyd faught him and DLH wasn't in his prime when PAC did. But you saw the difference in the fights. Manny completely dominated and destroyed DLH where Floyd etched out a split decision that some felt he lost.:yep

Tyson and DLH were on a completely seperate level where they were generating MASSIVE numbers where there were NO CLOSE COMPETITION.

In the case of Floyd and Manny they are neck and neck in Domestic PPV buys. And would need one anther to generate the kind of money it stands to make.

DLH and Tyson.....they could generate that money fighting who ever.

The real test would be to see what kind of PPV numbers Clottey v Mayweather would do. I'm guessing less than Pac v Clottey. Anything less than 55/45 would be unfair. Floyd is not the draw he imagines himself to be.

Floyd needs to stand firm on the testing issue though. There should no compromise in following the normal protocol for USADA testing. Manny Ramirez Pacquiao is on something.

Yeah Manny dominated a weight drained version of De La Hoya (who admitted himself he was a "zombie" in that fight against Manny). De La Hoya said the difference was like night and day in regards to fighting Floyd at 154 and fighting Manny at 147.

And if you want to bring up controversial decisions.... what about Marquez and Pacman? Pacman barely beat Marquez and some felt he (Pacman) lost..... and Floyd dominated Marquez while pulling in more PPV numbers against Marquez in both fights than Pacman did..... so I don't see your point.

Don't forget, Floyd agreed to do the 50/50 split the first time around, but since his fight doubled Pac's last fight, the split has went up. Pac should have accepted the first time around, now Pacman wants to all of a sudden agree to take the blood tests?????

Keep it on the real..... don't let your hate for Floyd cloud your vision. Floyd deserves the bigger share since he has yet to be beaten.

Yea....the difference was NIGHT and DAY with regards to the PAC fight vs the Floyd b/c of the way the fights ended. One was very close and tight...the other was embarrassing for DLH. Maybe Floyd faught a slightly better DLH.....but PAC's dominance overshawdowed the fact that DLH wasn't at his best weight.

What about JMM vs PAC. Sure....close fights are contraversail....just like DLH vs Floyd. Close competitive fights that could have gone either way but at the end of the day the right men won. It happens a lot in this sport.

Floyd and Manny enjoyed the fruits of BEATING DLH. their popularity and stock rose A LOT. Their earning potential and the level that their marketability is at is mostly due to the fact that they both faced and beat DLH. Manny of course dominated a guy that Floyd already beat so the luster wasn't quite as big no matter how badly DLH got handled.

Pac agreeing to the test is only a testement that he's trying to call Floyd's bluff who has been very slippery in getting him to fight. Now if it ain't one thing it's anther for Floyd in not taking this challenge. Was blood testing...that's out of the way....now its the split.

The PPV #'s are only a convienent excuse to avoid the fight with Manny b/c Manny could have very well used that same excuse to kill the fight initally based on PPV numbers that were better than Floyd's at the time. But he didn't do that b/c he WANTED the fight. Floyd clearly is saying WITHOUT actually saying the words...."I don't want it with manny"....he's letting his actions talk for him.

And I don't hate Floyd. I think he's a bit corny but I absolutely LOVE watching the man at work. He's an incredible boxer and supremely talented. But **** man....he's the one who is making it clear how badly he does NOT want this fight to happen with his actions. I'll still watch him b/c I enjoy seeing glimpses of greatness when he's in a zone....but of course I want to see him tested and Manny offers that. Floyd seems to want to avoid that test. So no one can make a grown man do soemthing he don't want. Even if $50 Million is on the line.

I guess there isn't a price for everything like they say.:bart

You could be right! I just wish Floyd had the same confidence you have b/c if that was the case we would have already seen this fight happen.

If Floyd fights a Clottey level in Dallas at the same price as Pac did, how many do you think he would draw?
