I think Lou Savarese was actually a good last win for Foreman. I don't know if Savarese was ranked, but I have a hard time believing that he wasn't. He was undefeated in 36 fights, and coming off a knockout win over Buster Mathis for a small regional title. I saw Savarese vs Foreman 11 years ago, but don't remember much about it except it was very close. Some felt George had lost, but I can vaguely recall giving Foreman the nod just barely.
You must be the first person to list a draw on a win resume. Not to mention that Holyfield was dominated in that fight, absolutely chanceless.
I can relate to your point...but-even Louis thought he lost the first Walcott fight-and Foreman's layoff-really was a layoff.Only he seriously could've thought he could've stopped Michael Moorer when he did.
Foremans 2 wins over Frazier are better than anything of Holyfields, but I think Evander has the edge in total resume.
They're not a win either. Especially if you know that it was a gift draw. Would you list a draw on someone's list of losses? Because that would have equal crediblity.
Anyway, i think they're pretty close. Without doubt, Holyfield has more depth. His knockout win over Tyson is on par with Foreman's over Frazier, however, Foreman did it much easier than Holyfield and that should count for something.
If your talking in a career spanning P4P sense then unquestionably Holyfield. His legacy at Cruiserweight seals the deal.
