Wishful thinking on Holyfield's part.

Holyfield had just beat Rahman and was in line for a shot at a title.
He'd come close to winning against Lewis the second time they had fought but the public had little interest in a third fight. Lewis had even less interest.

If Tyson had KO'd Lewis, Tyson-Holyfield 3 would have been a natural match-up and the biggest fight out there in financial terms.
And Holyfield would always find Tyson an easier opponent than Lewis.

Obviously Holyfield had his own agenda.

Saying Lennox couldnt fight the type of fight Holyfield did in 1996.

Basically hes trying to say im better than Lennox lewis (He was probably also hoping Tyson would win, that would be Holyfields easy route to another title shot)
