i'm not denying the hook to the body. I understand the people are saying the hook to the body caused torres to drop his hands, which in turn caused his chin to be open to the butt, which ultimately lead to the brutal right to the temple.

i'm just saying that the butt is what drove him back to the ropes.

Trusting one's eyesight without being able to critically analyze that visual data can lead to all sorts of misinformation. That, IMO, has happened in the wake of this fight.

If ther was not headbutt there was not going to be right hand. The headbutt left him defenseless. I got to be honest. I was hoping Torres to get his ass kicked. But not like that

Was not the hook to the body was the same error he was doing in the Cotto fight he go wildly trowing punches and not putting timming a la juan Manuel Lopez, to the punch more presising if he do that he would have been undeafeated, but he is a terrible finisher, he got careless and he payed, with a head butt, and then a brutal punch. the budy punch didn't hurt him, he was lowring his hand soon after he hurt Holt.

Why should it be a NC if the headbutt wasn't intentional? Torres hit Holt on purpose after the Knocked down and what if that punch Knocked out Holt. Would you call for NC and call for a rematch?

False. "******s", "garbage" "obviously biased" etc. etc. - these are all things said by those of the converse opinion about those who maintain that the headbutt was not the mitigating factor in the fight. I'm the only one? Being a little selective, or is the thread just moving too fast for you to see both sides of the matter?

The body shot set that all up.

How that one kid here acts like KNOWS that body shot didn't hurt Torres, how the **** do you know that? You don't.

The replays show it did hurt him.

    Yeah seriously.

He was knocked down, getting up and Torres hits him.

If we're playing the "protect yourself at all times" gimmick, Torres has nothing to complain about with the headbutt.

i dont want to be a **** but it wasnt the be all and end all of the fight.

torres was throwign wild got cuagh twith a headbutt and then looked left and right simultaniously with the holt right hook.

if torres had been koed by a headbutt then clearly it would be a NC but the matter of fact was that it just backed him up agaisnt the ropes...he was aware of his legs and his movements even defending himself

all it did was knock him back.

i just feel people want a controversial fight so they can bicker on and on about how torres was robbed . when clearly it was a misendemor.

take chris byrds slip up agaisnt ibaebuchi. after gettign knocked down twice he takes a wrong step and lands on ike foot when ike hit him byrd is luanched to the floor...was it a knokdown or a slip?

Sooner or later it will be up on Youtube. That was a hard headbutt.
