im nt gonna pick howard eastman am i!???

but you would be extremely happy if i had mentioned tarver wouldnt you? even tho hopkins was 40 plus in that fight.

come off it, his age is never a factor unless he loses, all the yanks were on his ass. if he wins then yeah thats gr8, bernard is brilliant. if he loses then he's an old man.

seriously, if you feel that way he should have retired b4 he reached 40 then??

choose your words carefully, some people confuse intelligence on here with ignorance and rudeness. im open to constructive criticism but when people refuse to make points that are well explained and accuse you of being bias is just ignorance to me.

if people think im bias, then point out why in an intelligent and articulate manner.

    not trying to rename threads.

Look mate, you can whine about it all day long, if you truly want to compare two fighters or decide who was greater, look at their whole records and whole careers, don't just cherrypick 2 fights, there's no value in it whatsoever.

    Me saying:

"let's compare Calzaghe's fight with Robin Reid to Hopkins's fight with Trinidad. It was Calzaghe's unification fight, and he struggled woefully with a mediocre domestic fighter who was never world class, and edged a split decision. Hopkins's big unification fight was with the #2 p4p guy in the world, an ATG who had KO'd the WBA champ in his last fight. It was masterclass against an HOF opponent. Therefore Hopkins is a million light years ahead of Calzaghe"

is EVERY BIT AS VALID as your **** comparison. But I wouldn't do that because I know that one fight doesn't give anything like a true picture of Calzaghe's talent and career.

I repeat: Grow up and analyse things like an adult, not a biased little baby.

Ah yes, the characteristic behaviour of a fanboy playground moron. Anyone expresses admiration for certain fighters, they are a "nuthugger" with no valid opinions. ****ing hell, are you 6 years old? U have a Haye photo, you must be "David Gaye's boyfriend". Rancid.

The RAF actually existed BEFORE the war and during the war Spitfires and Hurricanes(both British designed aircraft) were being produced by British workers and flown by British pilots. I`d say it`s pretty clear the Britain won the Battle of Britain. No doubt a dullard like also believes the Russians didn`t win the Battle off Stalingrad rather it was an American victory.:rofl

I never said it didn´t exist before but therr would have been much less aircrafts and much less ammunition without the help from the US. What would you think the outcome of the battle of Britain would have been if the RAF would have been half as great?
Yeah, keep on insulting and expose yourself :hey

Between July-October 1940 what exactly did the US give Britain and how many less aircraft would we have had according to you?? I`d be fascinated to know your answer. :think

Boy, you can´t deny facts regardless what you do. You are just too nationalistic to acknowledge the fact that without the help from the US there would be no french resistance and there wouldn´t have been westfront. Everybody with common sense could see that.

whether mk had belts or not, i don't think you'll convince me that his competetion up till calzaghe was "great".

i think that nard boxed pre jail as a kid as well but it may not have been serious and i could be wrong on that account. obviously nard wasn't "boxing" as much as joe during his early 20's, but i'm sure he had a more than a few scrapes in jail and on the streets and you can bet hops was tougher on his body during that time (not like the perfect diet, no alchohol or drugs he's done now for some years). So I think there is still a difference between 35 and 40 even tho calz probably had more total boxing matches.
