Haven't watched that borefest since it happened, but I remember thinking it went 115-113 in Calzaghe's favor (7 for Joe, 4 for B-Hop, 1 even)

that's the worst card i've ever seen when it comes to this fight.. if people were to give hopkins the fight by a point or two, then that's not so bad.. but 117 113??

    hell to the no!!

my card was 115 113 to calz BTW.

    oh, and welcome to ESB.

Hopkins decided to have a breather or 2 which lost him the fight so his acting lessons didnt pay off.

When other athletes take ANY contact to their balls we never question or doubt whether it hurt .. unless you're a dickless ****. We give them their time and then start the competition again when they are ready and have recovered.

I never understood why Hopkins got **** for the low blows. Of course he milked it a little. But Calzaghe did hit him straight on the nuts.

It was pointed out by Kellerman straight after the fight via replay that he never got hit anywhere near his nutsack. On the other hand Hopkins is 1 of the dirtiest ****ers out there.

owweeee he hit me in the tum tum...ref! oh no, he hit me near the head, thats a rabbit punch! i get a 20 minute nap right?

yes, hopkins is 10 times tougher than me. yes, he'd kill me in any fight. but for a guy who talks so much ****, he acts kinda whiney in the ****ing ring

It's freaking hilarious how a guy who averaged less than 10 punches in 9 rounds of the fight is supposed to have won against a guy who averaged 60-70 punches a round.

This crap fight was not even close. Joe, won 8-4, with the knockdown against him.

    Damned Noob. STFU.

Not a bad 1st time post, although I had Calzaghe winning that **** fight.

I wish both guys could have lost that fight.

I'm a Hopkins fan, and I believe I only had him winning the 1st, 2nd and 9th round.

TS has a great screen-name and a horrible scorecard. Calzaghe won that fight easily. Hopkins won three rounds!

Ah, another MichiganWarrior 'fact'. That as per usual is completely non-factual. The first low blow (where Hopkins spent a while crying and rolling around) is clearly shown by replays to have been a punch that was heading for Hopkins' mid-section before Hopkins blocked it with his glove and deflected it downwards where it brushed against his shorts. The second one, no low blow at all landed, Hopkins threw himself to the ground like a Spanish footballer, even Cortez couldn't bring himself to fall for that one.
