Not because of Dawson, they where awfull because Hopkins was fighting negative.

    Chad Dawson was the aggressor!!!

Deep down man, you know! know the truth!!

Dawson took the first round and was going ok in 2nd till the incident. Hopkins was going to have to produce another master class to win the fight. I think Dawson looked pretty decent in there. To many wrote him off i think.

has to be changed to a NC - whether he faked it or not fact is Dawson threw Hopkins down, wasn't a boxing move or an injury caused from a punch, was a slam WWE style

    Disgraceful officiating

Nigel Benn-Steve Collins 1. (Benn injures ankle and is declared a TKO loser)

The ref didn't report a foul and that's just the way it is. Horrible way for a fight to end but last night ain't no different to any other injury in boxing where a foul hasn't been ruled. Duran-Lawlor, these things happen as badly as they might stink.

That's completely different. Benn was in his corner and opted not to continue. There was no foul. Dawson threw Hopkins down and caused the injury. How the hell is THAT a TKO?

Yeah I know it's completely different in terms of how it ended and all that but the referee last night continuously stressed there was NO FOUL.

You and I and him and her may have seen it differently to the ref but if he's deemed there was no foul then a TKO is how he's got to play it.

No, he completely mishandled it. If he felt it was a knockdown, then he should have counted. He didn't. If he felt it was a slip, he needed to tell Hopkins to continue or he'd lose. He didn't. He asked Bernard if he could continue, Hopkins said he could and then the referee told him he couldn't.

Since Dawson hadn't actually knocked Bernard down, had clearly thrown him off (which was clear even from the initial angle), and now Hopkins was injured, it could only have been a no contest. The only reason Hopkins fell over was beacuse Chad hip-tossed him.
