I'm not disputing what you're saying and I saw that **** exactly the same way. However, the ref reckons there was no foul, nothing to see here kinda ****.

Hopefully sense prevails and a nc is ruled but I ain't overly confident that will be the case.

Anyway I still felt robbed. Still felt Hopkins shoulda given us a minute or so more. Lesser fighters have come through far worse injuries and won their fights. Hopkins didn't want to continue, and no, I ain't blaming him for the farcical ending last night but by the same token I ain't overly sold on his quickness to want to quit.

Hopkins dirty tactics simply were not working, Dawson clearly had his number.

Based on five minutes where there was nothing between them?

You can't say that after what....5 minutes of action....****, if the same thing happened in the first Pascal fight everyone would've figured Jean had his number.

Hopkins has wanted no part of Dawson for a long while, jumping in for the belt as soon as he lost to Pascal. He finally gets around to fighting him, gets pretty done over for two rounds, then falls to the the floor acting like his arms fallen off making no effort to fight on. What on earth are people supposed to think?

What's with this chad walked him down. Bhop did not get 'done over' for two rounds. Thats bull**** and anyone who really beleives that dont know **** about boxing. Go watch winky bhop, go see countless other bhop fights. They all usually walk him down and then bhop eventually wins. After 1 and 3/4 rounds Dawson fanatics want people to beleive he deserves to be a champion after that.... That's bull****. **** bhops antics or the referee ****ing up. That right there from Dawson and his team is ****ing delusional.

The least he should do is rematch to prove he is a worthy champion. ****ing mental midget.

Dawson was not doing anyone over. He landed two or three punches.

I can, for the two rounds we saw, it very much looked like Dawson had his number. That's what we saw, what you can't do is dream up some mythical comeback that simply didn't happen. We saw two rounds and for those two rounds Hopkins looked as clueless as I've seen him, he was already looking pretty frustrated to me. I liked the way, unlike other fighters, Dawson was having none of his Hopkins dirty stuff.

Hopkins looked clueless and frustrated, I was starting to even feel sorry for the old fella.

Come on we all get a feeling in a fight and I can remember thinking Hopkins is in deep water here, he didn't look comfortable at all, then he goes down like a sack of spuds for no real reason and we all knew he wasn't going to get up.

I could give you about a thousand examples of fights that looked like they might be going a certain way and it turned out that they didn't. A thousand is just being kind.

Don't get me wrong either, I'm not sitting here proclaiming an outrageous injustice was done because I would rather have seen Hopkins at least attempt to continue. He didn't and that's where we are right now.

    However...5 minutes of a fight ain't tellin' me ****.

these old refs need to be tested as fit to referee as they keep messing up BIG TIME.

the ring was pretty small, dont know why,why did bhop agree to a small ring and to fight on cali rules??,why the hell are there different rules in different states, one rule for all surely!,so much wrong with this dodgy sport.

bhop takes a few rounds to feel out his opponents and to find his range.

neither fighter really "won" anything outa that 2 rounds and that "fight".

bhop went in to get dawson, dawson ducked, bhop then went to hold so to stop himself from getting hit on the inside, dawson the numb headed idiotic fool shuved him down to the mat like it was effin wrestling!

how can any sane non senile man give a belt to a man who fouls his opponent!.

if i was bhop ide feel like suing dawson for injury,i hope bhop makes sure its his belts that he gets back and the no contest ruled.

he should fight last fight vs clevelry in wales and go retire of that big win.

cloud is a don king guy, dawson is a d*ck,with no real drawing power, the fight would have been messy all the way through and "close" again on the cards.

Fair enough, but I bet you can name 1000 times that amount that went the same way as they started.

Anyway, yes, of course we can't say for sure, two rounds is certainly not enough.

However, I can only say what I felt whilst watching it last night and I really did sense that Bernard was in trouble, despite nothing obviously drastic happening. I didn't feel that way in the Pascal fight, despite the knockdowns.

Having said all that, who knows with Dawson, he does have a horrible habit of just drifting off for several rounds for no reason.

I was just sat there thinking Bernard's really going to have to do something here, then he goes down like that. No one will really know for sure whether he was faking it or not, but I can't say I feel too sorry for Bernard after all his antics over the years, at worst it's sweet karma.

Also, if it is true, Bernard's body is just going to give up so easily like that at his age, it might be time for him to call it a day, it's not fair on anybody really including himself.
