Moving down where? To the canvas, probably.

Like in Dawson I? Can't imagine his body is going to play along with him much longer. He is turning 50 and has already been asking too much of it.

Probably not but he could still fight a 160 fighter at some kind of catch-weight (except Cotto, that would be a bit silly).

If the Ole Man is smart then he won't try to go below 168...

    Hmm... :think

To me it sounds like he's gonna try to fight GGG next.

    Catch weight of 172lbs.

BHop makes the weight of 175lb fairly easily but at this level, he is going to be outweighed by naturally bigger, younger and stronger men like Kovalev.

Froch doesn't weight much more than 175lb on fight night and is naturally a similar size to Hopkins.

Froch is also slowing down but BHop still has enough tricks left to get a stinking UD desicison.

Should retire tbh. GGG would be better than Froch, but after his Kovalev display it would be a freak show. Hang em up.

Imo hopkins should take farewell fight against some easy opponent on his weight like Arthur Beterbiev.

If he's moving down then it's going to be against Froch or Ward.

Beterbiev is a damn monster. I can't wait till he and Kovalev meet in the ring.

Just watched his fight against Cloud and he destroyed him in two. Very good power, clearly has some very heavy hands like Kov and GGG. But what is more impressive is beating a top LHW in his 5th professional bout. Definitely the real deal.
