If you didn't see the fight, how do you know he ran?

you said his lateral movement was impressive. that implies moving away from potentially damaging punches...by winky wright no less. priceless!

Speak english? I have no clue what you are talking about actually!

Yes, Bernard Hopkins used lateral movement in the Winky Wright fight, he used a lot of it, that is how he won, he started frustrating Winky, and just jumping in to get points and win rounds. He did it . . . and won.

Kessler is a more stationary fighter than Winky. It would be even easier. And Kessler knocking Bernard Hopkins out . . . Yeah, highly unlikely.

My english is fine. So hopkins moved from wright in order to win. I'll try and get that fight on utube and then lay out the truth for you.

Winky Wright went life and death with Sam Soliman who was pummeled by Mundine who Kessler took care of comfortably. Hop was a great middleweight but he is clearly past it now and at the higher weights he just isn't up to it regardless of his bogus 'Ring' title.

Kessler is a standup straight, very technical fighter. He also telegraphs his punches to a horrible extent. This was my main reason for picking Calzaghe leading up to it...and proved his undoing as well.

Hopkins would EAT HIM ALIVE. Everything Hopkins does well is everything that is built to fight a guy like Kessler. It would be a very, VERY wide UD!

It doesnt matter who beats who...its who matches up with who....

By your rationale....Trevor Berbick beat Ali....and Tyson beat Berbick....and McBride beat Tyson....so that would mean McBride would beat Ali.

Fighter A beats Fighter B....Fighter B beats Fighter C...doesnt mean Fighter C automatically loses to Fighter A.

I think your underestimating Kessler and overestamating Hopkins. Kessler is a better technical boxer then you give him credit for. He beat guys like Mundine, Lucas, and Beyer for a reason. Hopkins is 43 years old and barley beat a MW who punches like a WW. I think Hopkins would give Kessler some problems, but since Kessler is bigger then Winky Wright I expect him to win a comfortable UD.

A wide UD for Hopkins? Are you smoking crack?

Hopkins can never win that impressively at his age. He throws about 10 punches and 2 headbutts a round. He looked **** against a LMW fighting completely out of his depth, and lost to Jermain Taylor who has proven himself to be one of the biggest frauds in boxing

You talk about predictability, but Winky-Wright is as predictable as anyone. Peek-a-boo, jab, peek-a-boo jab. Kessler at SMW is a far more dangerous prospect, predictable or not

i have always admired oldman river's style and all the subtle stuff he does in the ring. but if taylor did well against him, kessler who is 5 levels above taylor would win it comfortably.

Kessler will do to him what Calzaghe will, beat him badly.
