Hopkins vs. Kovalev, people ACTUALLY think Hopkins can win?

No at this stage, a younger Hopkins would though. Kovalev is a good style match up for Hopkins, moreso than Adonis.

 

Ever since the Tito fight, I've been hearing about guys that would supposedly knock Hopkins out and end his career. It's never happened though. Hopkins struggles most with speed. He seems to eat guys alive that aren't faster than him. He's 49 now, so he would definitely be the underdog against Kovalev. However, Kovalev is the type of guy that Hopkins has picked apart in the past. Kovalev still has yet to really beat anyone of note.

 

All that power don't mean **** when you can"t land flush..Hopkins is smart enough to neutralize Kovalev's strengths!

 

People are so full of it. Hopkins quit and got outboxed in the rematch against Dawson yet he's the favorite against Kovalev ?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Hopkins beat both, but I'd favour them over him to win.

 

I have a ton of respect for Hopkins, and I'm impressed by his professionalism when it comes to the boxing lifestyle. However, Kovalev would seriously hurt him at this point.

Funny he said he would school Kov but didnt make a sound about superman, even though Stevenson is bigger money, which a lot. I never ever liked Nard but I learned a long time ago never to bet against him. The guy has beating the "next big thing" countless times. I am not saying he would win but given his style, track record and despite his age he could shatter a lot hearts if the ever met

 

If nard steps in there with kovalev and beats him he's got to move up quite a few rungs in the ATG lists.

Honestly, what's a win vs Hopkins worth right now? He's almost 50 ffs!! The Euro fanboys and the white power ****tards will probably jizz in their pants. However if Kovalev loses, their will probably be a shortage of depression medication and possibly a few suicides...

I really don't want to see this fight. Bernard doesn't owe it to us to get himself stretchered off after such a brilliant career. Anybody who saw the Murat fight knows that a Kovalev fight shouldn't happen.
